Classical singer, currently performing the complete songs of Schubert with pianist Michel Stas in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Keen philatelist, author of 'My Little Book of Stamps'.
Slightly discombobulated to see that my post about my Schubert recital last Sunday (reposted, to boot) attracted not one comment. BlueSky seems to be concerned mostly with what passes for American politics and (thankfully) the illuminating posts by John McCafferty, an active art historian.

Neo-Gothic Apartment House, built-In 1894, in Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺

This kind of building is very common in the inner districts of Budapest. Most of them are obsolete due to expensive maintenance.

Caroline Leavit has a very pretty mouth, but it might as well be another part of her anatomy for all the excrement that tumbles out of it.

The only thing I miss about Twitter are the posts from hill walkers in the Lake District.

After a slow start, more followers who share my interests: philately, Franz Schubert, current affairs and those who can temper there remarks about coves like Trump and Netenyahu with a little humour. Oh, and hill walkers. Where are you?

The proud author with his not-so-recently-published book,
'M Y L I T T L E B O O K O F S T A M P S', a whimsical look at stamp collecting, and not-so-whimsical critique of the way in which the humble postage stamp propped up colonial regimes. Available as print-on-demand from major bookstores.
