Just had some astounding Manos news on a personal level: my best bud at work (now, like me, retired) not only attended the El Paso premiere in person when he was 14, The Master taught him English in middle school! Says he was one of the best teachers he ever had.

I remember various local and state governments, well into the seventies, passing laws to keep those filthy hippies from desecrating the American flag by turning it into articles of clothing. Love to know if such a law is on the books in whatever locale Junior infests...
