Stop talking about lowering costs and start talking about raising wages. Empower people as labor instead of making them supplicant consumers begging producers to give them cheaper goods. Honestly, this messaging just makes things worse.

THANK YOU for reporting net present dollars instead of saying he's second to Shohei's $70 million. I'm so tired of people being dumb enough to write that like it's real.

I was at South Station as an undergrad and saw the driver call out "Peabody" and then I read the sign over his head and I tripped over my own feet and spilled a coke all over the palce.

They used to call it stagflation!

I'm infuriated that Dems dropped "higher wages" for "lower prices." We used to be labor, empowered to demand more pay. Now we're consumers, begging for some mythical policy that can make things cheaper without dragging down the economy.

I am just a pollster, standing in front of a bunch of elected Dems, asking them to lead on public opinion rather than hedge and tiptoe and moderate for fear an imaginary future backlash that will probably be manufactured by the right wing ecosystem anyway, regardless of what Dems do or don’t say.

Climate change is a function of overpopulation. Humanity has exceeded Earth's carrying capacity, especially with current consumption habits. The idea that humans can just multiply endlessly with no repercussions is unbelievably stupid.

Honestly, this is why my grand idea is a "moon ICE" campaign. See ICE walking down the street? Show them your butt cheeks. Their showing their asses, so we're showing ours. I seriously think it would have an effect.

In other words, they certainly could put on a trial with nothing other than witness testimony and the videos we've all seen. They don't need the gun or the car or anything else.

It's not as complicated as that. The prosecutor can bring charges with as much or little evidence as they have. And it's up to the jury, not the judge, as to whether or not that's enough to convict There's no technical requirement that they have certain pieces of evidence. It's discretionary.

And as Elie's article says, the must at least TRY. To throw up their hands and say, "Yeah, we're helpless, there's nothing we can do" in this moment is unbelievable moral cowardice, a complete abdication of their duty as public servants, and a breach of their oath of office.
