I bring this up tonight b/c Trump is now closing the Department of Education and dismantling it. The states have always controlled their curriculums, but the DoE provides student loans, FAFSA, Title IX, and education grants like the one cut from my students. Tell ur reps NO to cutting the DoE 3/3

The Republicans got control of Congress & rescinded the grant, costing students free college and a pathway to growth. These are our neighborhood kids being directly affected by these cuts so they can justify more tax breaks for Elon Musk and other billionaires. 2/3

2 years ago, I got notified that a grant I collabed on to create an Ag Pathway at my school district was awarded $6 million to make it a reality. This took a team of dedicated professionals and myself many hours of deliberations, meetings, and writing to complete. 1/3

My daughter is diagnosed with epilepsy and needs her medicine to survive. The shit RFK Jr. says about medications to help your brain scares the crap out of me, I seriously worry about her future access to medication.
