If you find yourself experiencing grief all over your body, please go to the doctor.

Get some therapy. Lean on others who are willing to provide support.

Many places offer free grief counseling.

Each day can be a battle. Sometimes it’s good to retreat and rest.

Be kind to yourself. End 🧵

I understand why people can literally die from grief. If I wasn’t medicated to handle my already existing issues, this likely would’ve killed me.

My heart cannot react to the fight or flight response because of my medication.

My body can respond to cortisol tho. That’s the pain and everything else

There is no ideal way to grieve. The body symptoms are debilitating and I wasn’t prepared for this. It’s awful

I am just existing

My cortisol is likely through the roof.

I’m experiencing insomnia, physical pain, inflammation in my joints, fatigue, some anxiety, weird appetite, and GI issues.

it’s so bad that I might actually go to the doctor.

My mental health overall is OK, but my body isn’t.
