• Logic Pro & a midi controller like MiniLab 3
• great synth like MiniFreak
• sampler like Sp404 mkii
That’s my jam. I could live in this space for years and still grow and learn. Great setup 👍🖖

Where the fridge magnet project sits…should be enough to start to give an idea. Hand painted magnets featuring our pets (like Miss Eunice sitting in her favorite chair), and all my wife’s favorite herbs, spices and flowers…cuz it is a kitchen after all. And also pumpkins.

I like gouache
It’s an interesting medium. I think the biggest take away, for me, is that I can achieve the look I want faster and better with acrylics, and about same speed but far better results with oil.
It is, however, fast, fun, and super easy to work with, and I do get the appeal 👍🖖

In the studio today:
Experimenting w/ gouache continues today, but this time I’m going to do a painting I’ve done several times in both oil & acrylic, so that I can really get a handle on the differences 👍

We did it!
We put our heads down, got aggressive with our payments, kept spending to a minimum, and…
WE PAID OFF OUR SCHOOL LOANS!
The last payment has processed, and now only have our mortgage.
I honestly never thought this day would come. Feels so great.
Such a mistake for both of us 😒

Gonna let two guitars and my keyboard go. Gonna get that KeyLab mk3👍😀🖖
So if anyone wants a great deal on of two barely touched guitars, or a gently used keyboard, none of which have ever left this studio…hit me up!

I told myself if I ever got back into music I would never sell an instrument again…
Buuuut…I think maybe 5 guitars is too many. I don’t play them all…and if I’m being perfectly honest…I just don’t think my hands can keep up anymore.
Trading for gear I’d use would be good tho, right???
