A decade+ ago, we had a bike tour come through town. Shut the highway down for 3 hours on a Friday afternoon when the schools were being let out. My options for getting home were to drive 90 minutes out of my way to go around the race route or stay at work late by an hour. So much fun.

I can appreciate his impact in arts and culture without particularly enjoying his oeuvre. Just not for me.
