FDA is still being throttled, despite its rehiring of many probationary employees. Communications team, fired. Support staff, fired. IT staff, fired. This is not efficiency.

My husband has to sign up for Medicare this year. While reviewing the options and our private insurance, we kept saying “If Medicare is still there…” and “How are we going to reach OPM or SSA if we have any questions?’ What times we live in right now.

Our oldest son was fired from his job at FDA a week ago. He reviewed cardiac devices for safety. It gets worse. Firing him and his colleagues at FDA and other places saved the taxpayers nothing. His position was funded by industry fees collected for reviews. His unemployment will cost us more…

My My highly qualified son (PhD) was one of those fired from FDA this weekend. He had an excellent one year eval and was well into his second year at the FDA reviewing cardiac devices to make sure they are safe for all Americans. Tell me how this is cutting “waste, fraud, and abuse”?
