I bet it's the woman

Started and finished both seasons of Interview With The Vampire this week — easily one of the best shows I've ever seen, and an immediate all-time favorite.

I already want to rewatch it all.

Now I'm no weapons expert but I think that counts as deadly

Once again... no.

Not even a slightly spontaneous person but I just woke up and within three minutes committed financial parkour and bought a whole new graphics card for my PC, entirely unplanned.

...I don't have the self-awareness to know what these reveal about me.

I like overly theatrical yet sincere melodrama? And also some sad Tom Cruise yearning?

Calling this a "tribute edition" while reanimating a dead man's voice with AI generated material stolen from his actual work to erase someone else's is insane; there's so many layers to how fucked up this is, and it's all coming from the worst kind of fanboy entitlement.

It's pathetic.

Still waiting for that John Brown biopic starring Michael Shannon I imagined once and have never been able to let go. Need it.

Considering her work on Prey and all her Assassin's Creed soundtracks, I'd love if Sarah Schachner scored the next (and presumably final) Thor movie.

Kinda dumb but I like to do this thing where I time the season (or weather) a game is set in to the time of year I play it.

Been waiting all year for this, but now it's autumn I'm finally starting Life is Strange 2!

My dream #Injustice3 character additions, if they ever give us a sequel game:

John Constantine

Cassandra Cain's Batgirl (maybe even as the new Shazam 👀)

Hawkman

Captain Atom (yes I know he's dead 🥲)

Desperately need a 4K bluray release of Joel Schumacher's Phantom of the Opera.

Played Captain Spirit last night for the first time, to get ready for Life Is Strange 2.

I really missed the art style and feel of these games, there's something so special (and sad) about them... I can't wait to start LIS2, I've been waiting all year to play it. Then Double Exposure after!

I FINALLY read Batman: Damned (I own the original uncensored issues).

There's a lot, but most of all it's Oblivion.

Superman Earth One is another that's amazing IMO, and seemed to take a lot of collateral hate from the overreaction to Man of Steel — and people who looked at the covers and read no further.

It's arguably the best 'modern take' on Superman we've got yet, while still faithful to everything classic.

I'm infinitely more of a DC reader, but 'Marvels' by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross is probably the truest answer IMO.

Otherwise I'd say Lemire and Sorrentino's insanely underrated Green Arrow run, it's the perfect 'intro to comics' book too — or for a non-superhero read then something like Descender.

I- I'm okay with this.
August 2, 2025 at 10:27 PM
No, somehow I don't think so.

Pascal was fine but I think Joel Kinnaman would've been an amazing Joel for HBO's The Last of Us series.

Sure he doesn't look the part 1:1, but he has game Joel's emotional tension and overall vibe perfected in everything I've seen him in. Surprised I never saw him among the popular fancasts. #TLOU

My absolute dream movies:

- Robert Eggers' Phantom of the Opera.

- Ryan Coogler's John Brown (biopic), starring Michael Shannon.

- Zack Snyder's 'Blood and Ashes', his unmade romantic epic about Alexander the Great and Hephaestion. 🎥
