I own a warm, light weight puffy coat but I always wear a weather proof shell over it, it gets me through most winter days very nicely. I picked up a RefrigiWear Extreme coat for those deep, deep freeze days, that sucker is *warm.*

That's an interesting position to take but I'm not sure it's defensible. I'd need some examples to convince me. One that comes to mind is the Shaggs' "Philosophy of the World" which I unironically love because it I think its charming but I wouldn't advise anyone to go out and buy it.

Probably the B-52s first album. I was teenage dork when it came out and entirely too serious about myself and my taste in pop music. But I warmed up to it shortly thereafter and realized that dumb fun could rock as hard and be as exciting and fulfilling as "serious" artists.

That's awful, I wasn't aware of that. Most cyclists are pretty conscientious, but I'd be lying if I said I don't worry about some speed demon coming up behind me without warning and putting me in the hospital. I've had a few close calls even before this.

I'm not a big fan of these shared pedestrian/bike ways (as an old, slow, absent-minded pedestrian) to start with but that's egregiously unfair. Get off my lawn, etc.
