Spent the morning cleaning my dad and uncle's gravesites. My dad passed 6 years ago today & I definitely miss him, but I'm glad he didn't have to suffer through the pandemic as he lived in memory care khad a closed head injury) and we wouldn't have been able to see him. Happy Memorial Day pops. 💙💛

Bummed today that half my handlebar mustache is fubar. The dry indoor heat & winter air plus not using enough beard oil left it dry and brittle and I think I fuss with it too much unconsciously. And so my right side is way thinner than my left. Gotta trim it back to square one.

After a Saturday getting called into work in the morning then spent the rest of the afternoon day drinking with friends and ending the night GMing Pathfinder I think today calls for fresh hair cut, beard trim, & a #showerbeer. The rest of the day will be for laundry & playoff football.

So started book 4 of the Shattered Star AP tonight with the #734PathfinderLodge. As per their usual MO they avoided a big beefy initial encounter with giants and proceeded to skip down 3 level of the dungeon with some new magic items they bought in their downtime. #InsertEvilGMLaughhHere

My old beagle buddy Scout crossed the rainbow bridge this afternoon. We had him for nearly 15 years after rescuing him from a shady pet store with literally our last dollars. He was with us through all of our good and bad times, loyal and good to the end.

Sigh, came home and my beagle knocked over the Christmas tree. He's been slowly preying on the low hanging ornaments. Started out on our Halloween tree in October. Gotta figure out a way to dissuade him from this new behavior. I know he needs more stimulation during the day.

I'm out listening to my good friend Barb singing at a local cocktail establishment. So far I've tried a Black Manhattan, rye whiskey, averno amaro, cherry. Then I had a cognac Sazerac. Damn, the lemon twist smelled so good. Definitely tasted the absinthe wash at the end. 🥃🍒🍸🍋⚜️

Found the manual settings on my new pixel 9 pro fold camera. Got some fabulous shots of the moon today and tonight. I'm going to have a lot of fun with this camera in the new year.
