The For You feed is going to be down while I'm upgrading the CPU from AMD 7900 (12 core) to AMD 9950X3D (16 core).
This should increase how many users it can serve by ~50%-100%.
If all goes well it should be back up in an hour or two.

another big reason also has to be that this app doesn't punish its users for being social. there's no such things as social score, too much reposts, no links, and no replying too fast kind of BS. i've been having a good time interacting with everyone freely, just the way i prefer !
Imo the reason Bsky feels more comfy for artists is bcs the community genuinely trying to engage and making mutual support, not just liking posts then scroll past it like any other socmed platforms. Thus, I will try to comment more and I encourage you to do the same thing! :D

Time zones play a big role, so in my case, the vast majority of content I see is actually from Asians, and then a little from Europeans just due to active periods.
