My first piece of advice to individuals is influence the companies you work at to change their procurement strategies and include climate. Even if they haven't specifically identified the solution, prioritize enabling suppliers with decarbonized solutions, by offering lucrative procurement contracts

I could only get behind this idea if it's reversible in short timelines as an adjustable sunshade between earth and the sun at SEL1. Any attempt at atmospheric aerosols is a nightmare of unknown unknowns.

There's likely $2.5T-$3.5T sitting on the table today looking to fund bankable projects that are fully derisked. The limiting factor is the funding gap to finance moving projects that are qualified but not yet bankable to construction capital ready at their final investment decision point & bankable

It's sadly mainly still about finding the sufficient risk tolerant money so we can deploy the projects. It's so hard to find LP's with liquidity and sufficient check sizes.

Impact finance struggles between grant making efforts, which are crumbs to address feeding an elephant, and zero risk capital in the sustainable bonds markets, but these are all starved of investable opportunities to drive impact and return expectations. I think planning doesn't know what's possible
