The Highland Boundary Fault is one of the major geological boundary in Scotland, and these surveys are helping the researchers unravel the story of what lies beneath our feet!

Did you know the Earth's magnetic field is not the same everywhere? An interdisciplinary team from University of Strathclyde, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Durham recently conducted magnetic surveys across a large magnetic anomaly along the Highland Boundary Fault near Blairgowrie.
