Its a bit spotty and at least in my experience you have to do a lot of work to make them usable for day to day use, you'd probably be better off moving your files and reformatting them to ext4

Could always use exFat or ext4, but exFat isn’t as safe as NTFS or ext4, and ext4 can’t be read by Windows. I would generally avoid using NTFS with Linux for now though, especially for something important

Just don’t keep anything on your games partition that you care about! You have to do some shenanigans to get it working and there’s a risk of writing something to the drive Windows doesn’t like and corrupting it
