Wish the show was longer. It was interesting seeing themes that would should up in Anno's later work. Also, after this and Paprika I'm curious to see what anime Nolan will swipe from next.

Also finished Zeta Gundam. Very depressing ending. Certainly hope this doesn't lead to Char doing anything drastic…

On the whole, I don't think I'm as negative on the show as some (most?) fans but I do think it would've benefited from a longer episode count. I appreciate that things were left somewhat open ended. If they do another season I hope they have more UC characters make gratuitous cameo appearances.
