Harrison Bader isn’t in the Phillies’ Game 3 lineup. He’s running a little better, Rob Thomson said, but not enough to play the outfield. It’ll be Kepler-Marsh-Castellanos, left to right.

Aidan Miller won’t play in the Arizona Fall League, after all. He has “some nagging things physically,” according to Phillies farm director Luke Murton. The Phillies would rather him rest after a long season and thought finishing in triple-A minimized the need for more development in AFL.

Three at-bats so far for Shohei Ohtani vs. Cristopher Sanchez.

Three strikeouts.

On 13 pitches.

Sanchez got Ohtani swinging at a changeup in the first inning, looking at a sinker in the third, and looking at a sinker in the fifth.

Cristopher Sánchez receives a big ovation, tips his cap, and touches his heart as he leaves the game after 5 2/3 scoreless innings. Sánchez will finish with a 2.50 ERA and 211 strikeouts in 201 1/3 innings. Would imagine he will be the NL Cy Young runner-up behind Paul Skenes.
