Today is Rare Disease Awareness Day — my goddaughter Dottie Mae has Aicardi Syndrome (only about 1000 little girls in the U.S. / 4000 worldwide have it). She’s been such a trooper with it all and makes strides every day. She knows that flash that smile to get whatever she wants from Uncle Scott. 💕

tomorrow for “Throwback Thursday” you have to dress in…90’s fashion!!!! I’m old! 👴 Also, coming from NYC I’ve never seen a skateboard rack at a school 🛹 , but all is ok because the students gave me my mini-carton of chocolate milk, just like I had back in my day (you know, ancient times…the 90’s).

I was back volunteering at Shadow Hills High School in Indio to do a workshop with the 4 amazing students who will emcee their Winter Rally. It’s spirit week (today is Disney day, hence the Mickey shirt), and I was APPALLED to see that… 1/2
