What people need to understand is that even if they remain peaceful in the face of all this he'll very invoke it anyway. He's too attracted to power not to.

There are probably many conservative politicians and donors that are happy to benefit financially from the proximity to power they currently have while also knowing that the independence of the Fed is critical for their ability to continue to doing so.

He’s playing a zero sum game, by default. Equality is 100% a dirty word to him in that context.
