Your post brings to mind the Langley Schools Music Project. Does anyone else out there listening to the #XPNCountdown own this album? It was made in the late ‘70s at four different elementary schools in British Columbia. Actually some great covers on there, including several Beach Boys songs.

I went to John Morrison and Josh Leidy's lecture two years ago on the History of Hip Hop Sampling -- so freaking good.

I saw them when the tour came to Pittsburgh my sophomore year of college. I had lawn seats and was muddy head-to-toe. A *great* show!
