Just got off a call with the director of Antifa, NY division, and George Soros. George said I'll have my No Kings protest payment on Monday. I recommend all my leftist terrorists buddies do the same. I mean, who protests for free anymore amiright? You want a decent insurrection you gotta pay up.
October 11, 2025 at 5:03 PM
I didn't. Will you?
George was just trying to get to work.

ICE pepper-sprayed him, dragged him from his car, locked him in a detention center, and placed him on suicide watch. He even missed his young daughter’s birthday in the process.

This man is a veteran and American citizen. Don't look away.
"They put me on suicide watch and they put me in the cell, I'm naked, in like a hospital dress and just a concrete bed with like a mattress, like a thin mattress and, they leave the light on 24/7."

Trump hates to be the object of humor. He understands that humor can be a more powerful antidote to tyranny than any other form of criticism.

I'm sure he'd hate it if you shared this cartoon. [Cartoon by Jon Adams/The New Yorker]

I have seen enough of Trump's UN sp...er whatever that was...and his whatever he did in front our flag officers while standing behind a podium, and I can honestly say he is a stark raving lunatic

Benjamin Franklin, when asked if the constitutional convention had established a republic or a monarchy, replied, "A republic, if you can keep it". As reported in the diary of convention delegate James McHenry.

These are the words of an absolute lunatic:

Q: "Will you trust the new job numbers?"
Trump: "Well, we're going to have to see what the numbers, I don't know, they come out tomorrow. But the real numbers that I'm talking about are going to be whatever it is...

"Social Security has stopped publicly reporting its processing times for benefits, the 1-800 number’s current call wait time and numerous other performance metrics which are used to track the agency’s struggling customer service programs...."

Social Security stops reporting call wait times and other metrics
The changes are the latest sign of the agency’s struggle with website crashes, overloaded servers and long lines at field offices amid Trump cutbacks.

For the record the judge Pamela Jo is referring to did not harbor anyone. She requires ICE provide the proper warrant, then let him leave thru the side door, which led to the main door where * checks notes * ICE was waiting for him.

AG Pam Bindi: "If you are harboring a fugitive we will come after you...we will prosecute you. We will find you". Sound familiar? Also a reminder that the people hiding Anne Frank were breaking the law. The people who killed her were following the law. \1

The CDC has removed the MEC, or the Medical Eligibility Guidelines, for contraception. It tells women the best form of contraception to use based on medical condition. Why does this matter? /1

OK so Trump just launched tariffs. 25% on Canada and Mexico, but 10% on China? Why so soft on China Donny? WSJ calls it the "stupidest trade war ever". $1000 if you can tell me what he even wants to get out of it. What a moron. But hey, we voted for this apparently.

Nominating Hegseth for SecDef was a loyalty test. How far would R's go for Trump? Would they abandon their responsibility to the military, the country, the Constitution? Their dignity? He got the answer he was looking for. One more step down the short road to autocracy.

Trump disbanded the Aviation Security Advisory committee. Mandated by Congress after the Pan Am 103 bombing, most of the committee's recommendations have been adopted over the years. The only impact of this move is eroding the safety of the flying public. How is this America first?

Donald Trump nominated for Sec Def a man that is unqualified, incompetent, and immoral. He will be answering the phone at 3am when there is an emergency somewhere in the world. That call deserves someone competent and qualified with a lifetime of experience. How is this putting America first?

Officer Caroline Edwards of the Capitol Police was attacked on Jan 6, had her head cracked open, resulting in a permanent brain injury. The person that did this is now out of jail. Can some MAGA please explain to me how this is putting America first? Or how this is backing the blue? Either one

Wow. Vivek talking to white people like white people talk to black people sure isn't very popular with... *checks notes* ...white people. Who could have seen that coming?

Seriously. Shouldn't that be the job?
Thing abt Trump's attack on rule of law is people who get paid to be journos never push back on it.

Would it kill you to say what J6C found? Would it kill you to point out it relied on testimony fr Trump's own aides (including people still working for him)?

Yes, it's that obvious
I don’t personally know Rep. Nancy Mace or Rep. Sarah McBride, and I can’t say I’ve thoroughly researched their biographies or political views. But I’ve seen enough in recent days to say this: I am very grateful to be of the party of Sarah McBride, and not that of Nancy Mace.

Those that forget history...
Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.

His answer is remarkable—unfortunately things didn’t work out so well in 2024.
