That is such an interesting way to look at it. I have long wondered what the future of education would look like. I believe that we as teachers are sadly going to be disposable in favor of more AI focused courses, especially with the nationwide teacher shortage.

For sure the latter! There is a disconnect in trying to teach them that the process is where the real education comes into play. Powering through a tough problem or essay builds underrated skills and the absence of said skills has yet to be studied in a long term scale. We only have preliminary data

I’m in education. I fear the way we have been trying to teach the last five-ten years has been flawed. We are not keeping up with the advancement of technology and what is important for students to learn. Kids are getting smarter with how to use the tools available but are not taught responsibility.

Yea! I love being asked/asking if my wife is in a healthy place for me to complain or trauma dumb. It feels so comforting when they say yes and not at all hurtful when they say no, saves both of us so much unneeded anxiety about wondering why the conversation feels off.
