Ugh. My church in Minneapolis is jammed with people of faith who are actively resisting ICE and who will never vote Republican. Even the “old” Republicans have left that party.

Ask me how I know.

I think it’s Westminster Presbyterian church in downtown Minneapolis. The church was recently featured in a NYT article.

Is it weird that I had such a crush on TLJ in “The Fugitive?” And I was so close to quitting my job and joining the US Marshalls, if only so I could bring doughnuts “with those little sprinkles” to Mr. Jones.

Emmer is a coward. He won’t even hold town halls in his district but he’s more than happy to spout the company line in DC.

It's near-white out conditions in Chicago as the snow comes down, and tonight's anti-ICE/CBP rally is wrapping up in front of city hall.

But not before the crowd bounces and chants, "I believe that we will win!"

Or maybe there were so many horrible Trump stories/files that they just couldn’t delete every single one of them.

Because the ones that “slipped through” are horrible.

Loved Oprah’s book club. Hated Oprah’s men.

Eh. Stedman may be okay, but not the others.

The idea that we're drawing our resolve from each other, that we are willing to put ourselves in harm's way to protect our neighbors, even ones we do not know, it's unthinkable to them.

They don't understand that real strength doesn't come from HURTING PEOPLE but from PROTECTING THEM.

Hurting people is easy. It's lazy. Anyone can do it with the right tools and the wrong morals.

Protecting people is hard. It takes restraint and courage and empathy. They will never have that. So they can never win, in the end. Minneapolis will win.
