is that a serious question? Maybe do some research into American gun culture, the powerful lobbyists and influencers, and have a watch of Bowling for Columbine to learn some actual facts as to how/why so many Americans own guns. As for rights in Aus, we have plenty so not sure what u r smoking?

and if they had had access to even more powerful weapons, dozens more would have been killed. But they didn't. And today our Govt is working to tighten our already strict gun laws further. Yes it's certain people who are sick and evil, but the tools they use/have access to also matters.

Our hero survived his injuries. He chose the path of peace, not violence. We leave that to the cops, who shot and killed that shooter (the father) and critically wounded the other (his son).

you don't know what you are talking about. I live here. It unfolded on our tv screens. 2 shooters on the bridge (a father and son). the father left the bridge, walked into the park and started shooting while the son kept shooting from the bridge. Hero tackles the dad, all while the son is shooting.
