We also need a Supreme Court that has term limits and a Congress that has term limits. A mandatory mental health exam for members of Congress, the Supremt Court and White House staff shouldbe mandatory too.

With Republicans acting as Nazis and Democrats so fractured along their own ideological lines, it's time to admit that this two party system does not work. We badly need a multi-party system that will allow for coalitions that can form sane voting blocs within the congress.

At age 82, I'm not getting old, I'm old. I forget words during a conversation and avoid conversations with over 3 people. At 75, I retired because of the realization that I was not nearly as sharp as I was at 70. I'm more of an observer than a participant. Mr. Biden, please read.

Don't think of Kamela Harris as the first female president, the first Afro-Asian American president or any other trap. Think of her as a valid, viable candidate and opponent of Trump. She is about 20 years younger and want to lead Americans, not rule them.

Biden resigns. Harris becomes president and appoints a new vice president. I don't know much about Harris, but she is better than Trump and has more name recognition than other Democrats. She might become a great president. She will be attacked by Republicans as vice president or president.

Trump will win. He can't be stopped. But a Democrat controlled house and senate can be a safety rail erected against an unhinged president and a SCOTUS with a mission to rewrite the constitution or change its meaning by originalist (1790) thinking.

"A Federal Right to Contraception" is just as evil and misguided as a federal right to prohibit abortions. All 3 branches of government have to raise their sights from a woman's vagina. Sex without pregnancy should be a woman's right, just as no sex should be a woman's right.
The Senate is expected to vote down a bill Wednesday that would create a federal right to contraception access after many Republicans said they oppose the legislation as unnecessary and government overreach.

Where does the technical expertise of a court, any court, qualify it to define life and make that definition law? This is science and medicine's field of expertise. I can't help but feel that the courts are opening the floodgates of religious orthodoxy in these types of decisions.

Where does the technical expertise of a court, any court, qualify it to define life and make that definition law? This is science and medicine's field of expertise. I can't help but feel that the courts are opening the floodgates of religious orthodoxy in these types of decisions.
Not Biblical? Those who want to adhere to Torah, Bible and Quran should do so. But I do not want the US Constitution to be distorted by your beliefs. Why do Christians hate science that improves our lives. To me, your beliefs are nothing more than myths, your books histories of your beliefs.
