I'm sure it's just a coincidence, that in a year that was pretty much universally garbage for everyone else, they got richer :)

Winning elections isn't beneficial to them. The Republicans already get everything, that their rich donors want, done and they just get to sit there and fund raise without having to actually govern.

People are definitely getting hit with the triple whammy of bluesky being a smaller platform, them having to start nearly from scratch and bots not inflating all of their metrics with fake interactions

Hm I don't know if I just got really lucky with mine then. I was looking near Hannover and just googled for psychiatrists qualified to diagnose ADHD as well as looking up reddit threads of it and that got me to the previously mentioned psychiatrist with a few months of wait time, very quickly.

The best solution I've seen so far is to tag all your art with a personal tag and putting that tag in your bio, for an easy gallery feature.

Where have you tried applying? I recently got diagnosed and started treatment for my ADHD in Germany and it was relatively straight forward with a call and a few months of wait time, followed by an appointment (and one or two follow up appointments, before I started to get medicine)

There are a bunch of artificially caffeinated drinks out there, so maybe you can try out one of those?

The war on drugs is a disastrous policy and has worsened the impact of hard drugs, while decriminalizing drugs has been proven to ease their impact (look to Portugal for an example)
December 28, 2025 at 9:19 AM
Because criminalizing drugs makes seeking treatment for addiction harder and leads to black markets with unregulated drugs. It helps no one but the mafia. Decriminalized drugs are regulated to be as safe as they can be and offer addicts support out of their addiction without being demonized.

Cops are at best ignorant or at worst awful people. You don't get to work for an institution, whose sole purpose is to violently enforce the rules of an extractive, unequal state and then claim to be a good person.

Just fyi: You don't need to be vulnerable for Covid to ruin your life. It can disable otherwise completely healthy individuals, especially after repeated infections.

One of the biggest issues of this site is that you can't individually disable rts. I get the idea, but the feed becomes unusable once you follow a few artists, because there are so many rts. The "only post" feed is also not ideal, because it removes all rts.

All got what they wanted. Trump gets to stay out of jail, Republicans and Democrats kept their rich donors happy with Republican policy, Democrats don't need to govern, but get to keep fund raising to "fight" oh so evil Trump, while collecting money from the same donors as him.

That hyperbole is completely incomparable. The Homeland Security Act was an insane piece of legislation, that followed the usual playbook of using peoples fears to justify infringements on their rights and privacy. It is absolutely not an argument in favor of ICE, quite the opposite in fact.
December 26, 2025 at 6:42 PM
ICE wasn't founded this decade.
December 26, 2025 at 5:48 PM
Democrats have continued to and even increased funds for ICE. This is not a Republican issue.

This discourse always reminds me of this story of an ancient Grecian obsessed with ships, who got "cured" of his affliction. Autism has always existed. It was just demonized and suppressed. We must never allow people, trying to push it back into the shadows, to succeed.

conspiracy theories have gotten a bad rep, because they usually get associated with insane peoples ramblings about the earth being flat and reptilians, instead of actual conspiracies like pedophile rings in the highest seats of power and collusion between billionaires and politicians.

I would love to see the statistics of who considers themselves Labour voters at this point, considering the absolute implosion of the party. I can imagine this statistic is quite a bit distorted by the fact that a lot of recent Labour policies target the subjects of the poll.
December 24, 2025 at 12:51 PM
If that is them trying, then the Democrats should stop existing. Their only purpose at this point is to prevent meaningful opposition.

That may be the case, but lets not act like corporations love taking the opportunity of cost increases to dramatically increase the price and their profits.
