no one in 2025 should have to install spyware to play a videogame, let alone one that has a nearly 100% ineffectiveness track record. if you don't want people to get mad at cheaters then bring back vote to kick or stop designing systems that incentivize cheaters lol

Again I say: how fucking interesting that remote work technology is bad and not worth adopting despite all research pointing to productivity gains, but genAI which offers NOTHING is so important to adopt and force on people who have no use for it despite all the horrible things genAI does

it is a genre where PVP has an undercurrent of *spite* that is poison to me. A genre where you can be trying to do a complex PVE objective with no/low gear and get rolled by a trio of Pro Gamers who will gain no meaningful benefit or loot to killing you, but go out of their way to do so anyway.
