He was involved in the June 17, 2025, apprehension of Roberto Carlos Munoz, a convicted sex offender originally from Guatemala, in Bloomington, Minnesota. During that operation, Ross got his arm stuck in the window of a vehicle as the driver tried to flee an immigration arrest. He was dragged roughly 100 yards down the street before breaking free. Prosecutors said Ross fired his Taser during the struggle, striking the driver, but the shock failed to stop the vehicle. Ross was taken to a hospital with a “significant cut” to his right arm that required 20 stitches and another wound on his left hand that needed 13 stitches.

DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE POLiCY ON USE OF FORCE Adopted May 20, 2022 It is the policy of the Department of Justice to value and preserve human life. Officers may use only the force that is objectively reasonable to effectively gain control of an incident, while protecting the safety of the officer and others, in keeping with the standards set forth in Grahan v. Connor, 490 U.S. 386 (1989). Officers may use force only when no reasonably effective safe, and feasible alternative appears to exist and may use only the level of force that a reasonable officer on the scene would use under the same or similar circumstances, As the Supreme Court stated in Graham: The decision to use force "requires careful attention to the facts and circumstances of each particular case, including the severity of the crime at issue, whether the suspect poses an immediate threat to the safety of the officer or others, and whether [the suspect] is actively resisting arrest or attempting to evade arrest by flight." Id. at 396. "The calculus of reasonableness must embody allowance for the fact that police officers are often forced to make split-second judgments- in circumstances that are tense, uncertain and rapidly evolving - about the amount of force that is necessary in a particular situation.'" Id. at 396-97. In addition, "[t]he "reasonableness' of a particular use of force must be judged from the perspective of a reasonable officer on the scene, rather than with the 20/20 vision of hindsight." Id. at 397. "[T]he question is whether the officers' actions are *objectively reasonable' in light of the facts and circumstances confronting them." Id. This Department-wide policy emphasizes core principles and training standards for the DOJ law enforcement component agencies, which have updated their individual use of force training programs regularly. DEADLY FORCE I. Law enforcement officers and correctional officers of the Department of Justice may use deadly force only when necessary, that is, when the officer has a reasonable belief that the subiect of such force poses an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to the officer or to another person. A. Deadly force may not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect. B. Firearms may not be discharged solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless: (1) a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or (2) the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle. Firearms may not be discharged from a moving vehicle except in exigent circumstances. In these situations, an officer must have an articulable reason for this use of deadly force.

In other words, this is an attempt to steal Venezuela's oil.

Leia is recovering, though she is obviously a house dog and does not like being outside. She has bite injuries all over her hips and hind quarters. I hope Jackson Nunez of DFW burns in hell, and the faster mthrfkr gets there, the better. I hope the method of his delivery is torturous and terrifying.

Spent the last 6 hours of my 2025 saving a dog. 💜 She is now safe and sound, with a swift, safe bed, food, water, and meds.

I wish I could keep her, but Buttercup is not good with the other 4-leggeds. 💔 We will start trying to find her a place with a rescue Saturday. It hurts to let her go.
Leah/Luna the SWEET, SWEET black and tan pupper I rescued off a busy street near the highway tonight. You can see bite marks on her left rear leg. Both her rear legs have been bitten. The vet said she had clearly been used as a bait dog. I found out the asshole who dumped her just got her a week ago from someone on Facebook. He has clearly been starving her. She was severely dehydrated and emaciated. We know who he is, and the sheriff will be coming for him.
