I have 3 sets of diagonal cutters:
1. I want to cut a lot of copper leads and my wrist health is important
2. I need diagonal cutters, hope this is copper
3. Get the f#$& out of my way what ever you are made of. These are rated for steel and piano wire

Tonight I am cutting coaxial cable so it's #3

You didn't see the low income person fare evading.

Other transit systems have hardware for cleaning rails but the T and the commuter rail lag behind on that.

I hope people see this slide Monica Tibbits Nutt's legacy. Income Eligible Reduced Fare approved applications going exponential when the T realized they could have people on the housing and food assistance auto-enrolled.

It was announced today that Monica Tibbits Nutt is stepping down from being secretary of transportation. In my time trying improve things I have met 3 sitting state sec. of transportation and 2 retired. MTN moved a mountain to get the low income fare on the T passed.

Thank you.

I was helping clean out a shop offered this bottle of cleaner. I was frankly terrified to hold it. This is basically a hazmat hand grenade.

Wait the batteries in the battery buses from New Flyer have DRM in them?! Once again can we please all agree the @mbta.com shouldn't be buying these.

"You wouldn't steal a 3 ton battery from a transit bus..."

No offense to the poster but I am tired of Ironman being the image of great engineers
0. I didn't need a near death experience to suddenly grow a sense of morality
1. Didn't inherit billions
2. I have enough sense to know you can't make peace by making yourself a 1 off weapon system

Following RFK Jr.'s broken logic we can improve air quality in Grand Rapids by increasing associate professor salaries.

Following RFK Jr.'s broken logic we can lower the divorce rate in main by banning margarine.

I am deciding to embrace the spurious correlation illogic that is now running our public health infrastructure. In keeping with that here is the solution to UFO sightings in South Carolina just discourage parents from naming their kids Annabelle as those children are attracting aliens.

Earlier this year I went to Seattle to see
@connectionsmuseum.bsky.social and ride a trolley bus. I accomplished both goals & got to show Alyssa Seattle and fish.

Today's award for most over qualified person asking most freshman question goes to the good Dr. Kirkby for explaining a middle school units question.

I would like to point to to preserve @mbta.com's reputation that with in 5 min of my showing this to an official this was in front of Eng and in under 10 min an inspector was dispatched.

PS: My thanks and my apologies to the inspector for making them trudge out there at 7PM.

@mbta.com
I believe that the cleaning schedule for the platform fans was over stated in a past board meeting or the assertions that I was wrong about the air quality were themselves incorrect. This is park street. More examples incoming 🧵

I have no idea if they were gov funded or not by in my experience this is completely true. The wife is from Quakertown and her last apartment there was one of these. I always thought they were housing built by a factory or something.

Does anyone understand how to resolve this error message from lattice semi icecube2? I am sure the license file is there. I have jumped through a lot of hoops to install this "current" software that needs an OS release from 2010. (RHEL 6)

I remember you from all the Fiscal Management & Control Board meetings when you helped run @MBTA this well. Never forget people this is the guy who repeatedly stressed "revenue neutrality". He was also general manager in the yrs before this.

Don't elect tiny Charlie Baker.

So much news sucks these days but nothing will stop me from smiling when I see this graph.

@mbta.com Income Eligible Reduced Fare users grew rapidly once the T found out how to reach large groups of people that were effectively pre-approved by other programs (SNAP).

@mbta.com please trim back the foliage at Newton Center. You basically have to walk into the right of way to pass it.
