My Letterboxd last 4 this week included 2 recent horror movies, Danny McBride and his wonderfully depraved comedic characters, and a 60s counter-culture tinged wild ride comedy that takes on various male charcters and their misogyny.

I'm watching The Queen Of Outer Space tonight and it's amazingly corny and I love it! How come I've never heard of this? The Misfist should have written a song about it.

I'm almost done with Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat (2024) and oh boy, was this a wonderful doc! It is somewhat reminicent of It Felt Like A Kiss by one of my heroes; Adam Curtis in style. It's a wonderful weaving of narrative, jazz, archive film, photos, and audio, and on screen text.

What would be your letterboxd top 4 if you excluded films in your native language?

(This was super hard to get down to just 4)
