My name is Mateusz (just call me Matt or scriptwelder) and I'm a game developer from Poland.
In the early 2010s I made some Flash games, later on I moved on to Steam and HTML5.

When you write to people telling them your customer service just leaked all their data, maybe don't tell them to contact the customer service if they have questions 🙂

Follow-up on this.
Back then I contacted Discord's customer service and told them I do not have to and will not send them my ID.
They said oh yeah it's an error but please send us your ID.
I didn't.

Today I got this.
THIS is why it's utterly stupid to send anyone your ID or any other secure data.

I've just discovered that because I wrote "<=" instead of "<" in one place, there is a 0.00005% chance of tutorial combat breaking right at the start of the game.
All because of the "lucky" effect and it's been there since launch.
I wonder if anyone has been this "lucky" yet 😄

Not sure. I was asked to make it possible to fight the bosses again, so maybe I'll figure something out at some point.
For now, you can try replaying the game after setting everything at 150% 😛 It's super hard but my Discord confirmed it's doable!

I have just released an update to Deep Sleep, introducing difficulty modes!
You can keep playing like you did, you can switch the game to be less combat-oriented, or... make it more difficult, if you wish!

So how does that combat work anyway?
• It's like a puzzle where you try to use your inventory items in the most effective way
• Some weapons will slow the enemies down, some will make them attack faster
• Some weapons cause damage over time
• Defensive weapons block a portion of incoming damage
