I've spent too much time in the last couple of weeks staring at railway maps of Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire and now Norfolk again to start with Irish ones. But then again...

There's a great many disused 'obsolete' railways that should be put back long before anything further is done with HS2... though not necessarily this one :)

Remains of #Cromer railway tunnel today... the only standard gauge railway tunnel in Norfolk. Notable not least because it's Norfolk and the railway to the nearby Cromer High station on Station Road ran over the top of it

I did wonder if there were otters.

I was startled to see a kingfisher and then a mink in Skipton woods (see attached fuzzy pic). At least I think it's a mink... I've not seen one before and Norfolk has been proudly mink-free since 2023
