Stuff can be “not that good” but still be something you really liked. Not everything you don’t like is bad, sometimes it just isn’t to your taste and you don’t have to ruin other peoples fun by telling them it’s actually shit and they’re idiots for liking it

Why?

As a massive fan of what you guys do I wish you liked Daima more but I think you’ve always been fair with your criticism. I LOVE this show but the online discourse around it has been so negative it makes me feel relieved it’s over lol I’m questioning if I’m an idiot for liking it as much as I did

I’m sure folk would say they appreciate both but the new material just doesn’t do them well but I think many people who claim this just aren’t being genuine. Maybe it’s just me

The series has always been pretty much half and half of these qualities and I struggle to see how anyone can actually enjoy it if they are viewing it with such a clear rejection of what makes up a lot of the shows or manga

The franchise is so rich with all of these aspects I feel like dismissing most of them is just failing to understand or properly appreciate the series

Half the fanbase has zero interest in the characters, story, world building, gags and only cares about the internet breaking moments like new forms and climactic fights. The other half tries to be super pretentious and dismisses any sort of action as boring and lacking any substance.

FWIW I don’t think it’s fixed. The refs are just bad and mahomes flops and plays for a roughing the passer more than anyone else, he’s also the face of the league, that’s why he gets over protected in these situations

It’s pretty much stated in the series and I believe by Toriyama that ssj3 isn’t a good transformation. It wastes too much energy and is too hard to maintain, that’s why Goku stops uses in favour of maxing out ssj (pre god) and it’s safe to assume Vegeta came to the same conclusion by BOG
