It would be ironic (and poetic justice) if Ukrainian intelligence had gained access to whatever the Russians had on Trump, and possibly supplemented it with their own findings so that they could put more pressure on Trump than Putin, flipping him to support them. Maybe they hacked the Epstein files!

The theory: whatever "kompromat" the Russians may have had on Trump was probably 20+ year old video. Current AI deepfake video has become so lifelike that it provides plausible deniability, he can now claim the Russians have faked any video footage. So perhaps he's hoping to belatedly redeem himself
