In remote Mongolia - the Eastern Gobi Desert - for research fieldwork. I’ve been warmly welcomed by the nomadic camel herders & been learning about their language, communication, identity & lifestyle. It’s been truly amazing so far.

I have my copies of The Oxford Handbook of Language and Prejudice!

I would like to thank @janesetter.bsky.social and @sdovchin.bsky.social as well as our contributors for rearticulating the relationship between language and prejudice.

Ask your library to order a copy:

We've secured New Colombo Plan to work with Lotus Orphanage Children’s Centre alongside a group of Curtin students. We have a meaningful journey ahead - from running creative educational workshops with the children to riding horses & camels across the steppe, learning from nomadic herders.
