The former and current governance blew up WordCamps and meetups. Development is aimed at agencies. There's no room now for the noobs who built basic WP sites; they're being displaced by AI. And this is before all the "wpdrama".

There's not much community left. The forums are full of ChatGPT-generated replies that are so general as to be useless and often are used to hide spam. We've been really good about blocking them, but I guess they can all come back now. 1/2

The plugin's developers had nothing to do with that. You were not censored in any way. Akismet flagged your post a spam because... well, we don't know exactly why. Forum moderators frequently review posts auto-marked as spam and yours was "unspammed" about 3 hours after it was posted.

I have a similar helmet (Specialized Tactical). I don't understand how that visor is supposed to work. Too high to keep the sun out of my eyes. Anyhow, I removed it.

When my partner got hit by a car and slammed her head into the street after bouncing off the windshield, her helmet broke into three pieces. I'm not sure a wooly hat would have offered the same protection. She wound up with a brain bleed.
