A 54-year old male was riding a bicycle west in the westbound lane of 100 West C Street. A 50-year old male
was operating the MTS trolley on the westbound trolley lane. The trolley lanes were separated from the
travel lanes by flexible delineators. The bicyclist rode southwest into the trolley lane in front of the trolley.
The trolley collided with the bicyclist. The bicyclist was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. It was
determined the bicyclist sustained life threatening head injuries, and is not expected to survive. S.D.P.D.
Traffic Division responded to the scene and is handling the collision investigation.

Arena Boulevard. A 29-year-old male was driving a 1992 Mazda pickup northbound in the adjacent traffic
lane. The 70-year-old male turned left from the bicycle lane into the path of the 29-year-old male. The 70-
year-old male was ejected from the bicycle, sustained fractured ribs, a tibia fracture, a fibula fracture, a
collapsed lung, and was transported to a local hospital. The injuries were determined to be non-life
threatening. Alcohol was not a factor in this collision. San Diego Police Department Traffic Division will be

A 31 year old female (P-2) was driving a Mazda CX-5 vehicle (V-2) Northbound in the #1 lane of Ingraham
Street at Oliver Avenue. A 57 year old male (P-1) was riding Eastbound on his bicycle on Oliver Avenue and

proceeded into the intersection with Ingraham Street after failing to stop for a stop sign. P-1 broadsided P-
2. P-1 was knocked to the ground in front of V-2. P-2 exited V-2 without placing V-2 into park. V-2 rolled

over P-1. P-2 tried to re-enter V-2 and unintentionally pressed the accelerator. P-2 collided with a curb and
a metal gate. P-1 suffered multiple fractured ribs. DUI was not a factor in this event. Traffic Division officers
investigated this accident.

Fault has yet to be determined: A 43-year old male was riding a purple Harley Davidson motorcycle. He
turned northbound from 4300 Beta St to 1400 S 43rd. St. The motorcyclist veered from the northbound
number two lane, to the northbound number one lane. He stated a vehicle overtook him from behind,
passed him on the left, then made a movement to the right. The vehicle collided with the motorcycle,
causing the motorcyclist to fall to the ground. The vehicle left the scene continuing northbound on 43rd St.
The motorcyclist described it as a dark colored sedan. The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to a
local hospital. He sustained a fractured right clavicle and abrasions to the right elbow. The injuries were not

truck drove over the male's leg. The male suffered a left lateral open ankle, and 5th metatarsal fracture. He
also sustained a significant degloving of his left foot. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. It

A fifty-year old female was pushing a shopping cart in the northbound number two lane of 3000 Morena Bl.
She was stuck by a vehicle travelling northbound on 3000 Morena Bl. The vehicle fled the scene following
the collision. At this time there are no witnesses to the collision. There is no description on the suspect
vehicle or driver available. An uninvolved party saw the female pedestrian laying in the street and called
911. The pedestrian was unconscious and had sustained open fractures to both shins. She was transported
by ambulance to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. S.D.P.D. Traffic Division responded

began a left turn from the southbound travel lane, violating the 46-year-old male’s right of way. The 57-year-
old male impacted with the 46-year-old male’s vehicle. The 46-year-old male was uninjured. The 57-year-old

male was transported to a local hospital and sustained a collapsed lung, broken rib and a laceration to his
arm. The 57-year-old male 's injuries are considered life threatening. The 57-year-old male was determined
to be driving under the influence of alcohol. San Diego Police Traffic Division will be handling the

westbound in the number 2 lane of 15000 Carmel Valley Rd. The Civic collided with the Accord. The driver of
the Civic was ejected from the vehicle. Both drivers were transported buy ambulance to a local hospital. It
was determined the driver of the Civic sustained life threatening brain injuries and several fractures. S.D.P.D
Traffic Division responded and is handling the collision investigation. Alcohol was determined to be a factor
in the collision.

male was facing a green left arrow. The 18-year-old female collided into the 72-year-old male’s driver’s side
door. The female was declared deceased at the scene. The 72-year-old male was transported to a local

San Diego Harbor Police are asking for help finding the driver who they believe struck and killed a woman on North Harbor Drive last Friday night. The driver fled the scene. Police believe the vehicle may have front-end damage. #VisionZero
Public Assistance Wanted in Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision Investigation

On Friday, August 8, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Port of San Diego Harbor Police officers responded to a report of a person down on the westbound lanes near the 4400 block of North Harbor Drive.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female pedestrian with severe injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. First responders immediately initiated lifesaving measures. Despite these efforts, the victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The deceased female has not yet been identified and is in the custody of the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The vehicle involved did not remain on scene and fled prior to Harbor Police arrival. Based on preliminary evidence, the suspect vehicle may have sustained front-end damage as a result of the collision. Harbor Police Traffic Investigators are actively investigating this as a fatal hit-and-run and are working to identify the driver and vehicle involved.

Synopsis:
A 66-year-old female was traveling eastbound in the number one lane of 2300 Grand Avenue in a Nissan
pickup in slow traffic. A 32-year-old male was travelling eastbound in the number two lane of 2300 Grand
Avenue in a Chevrolet Camaro east of the 66-year-old female. A 55-year-old male riding a motorcycle was
traveling eastbound in the number one lane of 2300 Grand Avenue. The 55-year-old male approached the
slow traffic and collided with the right rear of the 66-year-old female’s vehicle. The 55-year-old male and the
66-year-old female collided with the rear of the 32-year-old male’s vehicle. The 55-year-old male suffered a
compound fracture to his arm, a fractured femur, and a fractured tibia and fibula. Alcohol was a factor in
this collision. San Diego Police Traffic Division will be handling the investigation.

Synopsis:
A 20-year-old female was driving a silver 2013 Toyota Corolla southbound on 3600 Ingraham Street. A 61-
year-old male was riding a green Kawasaki off road motorcycle northbound on 3500 Ingraham Street. At the
approach to Ingraham Street and La Mancha Drive, the 20-year-old female turned left onto 1500 La Mancha
Drive. Video cameras in the area captured the motorcycle rider traveling at unsafe speeds. The motorcycle
rider struck the 20-year-old female’s vehicle broadside and was ejected. The motorcycle rider was not
wearing a helmet. The motorcycle rider suffered a serious head injury and was transported to a local
hospital. San Diego Police Traffic Division will be handling the investigation.

Synopsis:
An unknown driver, was driving a white Mercedes sedan on 2700 Homedale Street. A 59 year old female
pedestrian was walking north on the west sidewalk of 2700 Homedale Street when the vehicle went up onto
the sidewalk and struck her. The vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian sustained a fractured fibula and
subdural brain hemorrhage. The injuries are not life threatening. Traffic units responded and will be handling.
