I personal like the rest of them, but they're not books I'd recommend and aren't the quickest of reads. You might enjoy Hammer of God though, that's got a bit of the original Rama feel to it but with a little more going on.

Absolute Classic. Love Police Story. (and that whole era of HK cinema for that matter)

Forever War is incredible. And Titans of Siren was a great read too.

One of my absolute favourite books. The rest of the series does read very differently. More human based than Tech. They're decent, but the first book is the best in the series so if you weren't sure about this one not sure how you'd find the other three.
