Honestly, whatever your DM thinks is fair and balanced. Base it on the long sword perhaps?

All sorts of ways, the wealthy can afford magical light. But oil lamps and candles are common. But there are all phosphorescent creatures that can be kept (or harvested) for their parts to provide light. Minerals that glow. A little of everything really.

I pulled all of the traditional monster species, orcs, goblins, and such, from my campaign world ages ago. If you are dealing with humanoid enemies, they are from the same races as the player characters. Seems to work fine.

I just started playing a pair of twin hobbit sisters, they are new to venturing but very excited to be out on their own! One is a rogue and the other a bard, they are auburn-haired tricksters and entertainers.
