sitting next to a little pond -- sunbathing , really . listening to the water and letting the warmth of the day wash over him .

he seems to be rather content in the moment .

" maybe ."

playing hard to get ? he isn't sure . he doesn't want to entirely discourage itto , though .

" . . . i look forward to it ."

yazhu shakes his head with an amused smile , closing his eyes .

all he knows of itto is a silhouette -- horns and a height much greater than his own -- and now how strong he truly is . his own vision might lack , but his hearing and touch will never .

" thank you for the dance ."

he's a little breathless , cheeks flushed from the dance -- which serves to hide the blush that spreads after the compliment .

" i -- . . . hah , you're a flatterer , huh ?"

he thought he would feel a little silly , dancing around without music .

clearly , itto has made that worry disappear .

he can't help it , laughing even more as he does . he didn't expect this . . . but it's fun .

maybe he should let loose more often .

he follows his lead , although he's a little unsure on his feet at first .

after a moment , there's a small laugh .

" i thought you said there was music . do you know something i don't ?"

eyebrow raised , he considers for a moment before settling his hand in itto's .

" . . . without music ?"

he shrugs his shoulders .

" i don't think i'll be making it any further than here , though . perhaps i should just consider returning . . ."

a soft huff is pulled from him , as he considers what he should do .

yazhu stands still , not bothering to turn and indicate which ship . his gray eyes don't track any movement either .

" i'm from liyue ." not a lie , even if he hadn't been there in a long time . " i came here with the intention of learning about somewhere new . . ."

" i'm fine ."

he smooths down his skirt , folding his hands in front of him as gray eyes stare off distantly in some random direction .

" please be more careful in the future , sir ."

he stumbles lightly with the sudden run in with the other , although he doesn't quite remember to cover up the slight glare that follows as he glances in the other's direction .

tall , horns . . . it's all he can glean with his limited vision before he glances back down .

getting into inazuma had been difficult , but there's no way he's about to make it any further into the country , he's realized .

he huffs softly , trying to decide if he should even bother sticking around or just . . . head back home .

it's been . . . a long time since he's been back to the harbor , but he doesn't imagine he'll be recognized now . it's been far too long for that .

and , of course , in his excitement to head for the pier , he dropped his vision .
