I am sure a lot of feel pretty strongly about what is happening in USA but as foreigners we are respectful to the citizens of USA to not comment on their internal affairs. I think that principle should apply both ways !

Difficult decisions lie ahead. The country's debt interest payments are massive. Tax take is at record levels. That means the government needs to take tough decisions on where its income is spent. Also, avoiding massive wastes of money (HS2 anyone) and better cost control would help.

I hope he knows Alaska was once part of Russia and sold by their king relatively recently to USA. I think Russia has a case to request to buy it back 😂😂😂

I shouldn’t really comment as I left the Uk just before Brexit. I notice the poor state of the roads and long delays in seeing a doctor if I wanted. High taxes as well! I agree talking down the Uk won’t help it. Perhaps if we had competent people in government at least occasionally it would help.

I have only been there once to visit a relative and what a shock. Concrete building everywhere, English like pubs and fish and chip shops everywhere. I could leave fast enough!

I was too young in the 70s to drink from these but I did once hit one of my Dad’s party 7 cans with a dart. He wasn’t best pleased!

This was always going to be the case BUT politicians won’t take any notice for another decade or so at least, sadly
