Mortgage - Always $3347 (min)
Medical - Expenses related to Oct birth of child, probably another $700 - $1k left after the $2366 I've already paid
Gifts - Probably the craziest. Includes all 70 Christmas cards and postage. Also, got my cousin to professional baby photo shoot ($550) for wife's bday

And it's everything! Every time I go grocery shopping the price of something else takes me by surprise. Grocery shopping feels like a defensive action where I'm losing no matter what.

Today it was Aldi behind coffee costing $6.70

Thanks for sharing! I've only traveled there for work a few weeks at a time... And yeah you can just feel that undercurrent all the time. Not everyone, not everywhere but it's prevalent

He's a good kid, but damn he needs to work on the optics.

I'm usually pretty level headed but I was annoyed because my wife had us go to CVS and we spent $3 on the card itself and I should have just straight up handed this kid the cash and said Happy Birthday

Have you considered switching up the wood glue for GE White Silicone Caulk? It goes down a lot more smoothly

Nice! Sounds great! We're joining my wife's extended family so no turkey but we did make 10 pounds of mashed potatoes today lol

That sounds great! By magic turkey making soup do you mean broth from a turkey you're making soup with? Or something else?

Maruchan ramen and Adams Peanut Butter, which I hate but my wife loves, where you have to mix the oil and peanut butter together but it never really works and the first 1/3 of the jar is too oily and the last 2/3 is not oily enough no matter how hard you mix it
