The NFL should look to rugby for transparency in officiating. Match officials are mic’d during the game and TMO reviews can be heard in full on TV when they occur. Then the Ref explains the decision (not just the result) to the players & people in attendance. Much cleaner process.

As a former kicker/kicking coach I was thinking (maybe hoping?) the same. Timing just seemed too tight. If you watch any rugby when good 10s (see Finn Russell) go for 50/22s they definitely put a spin on the ball that takes a pretty harsh angle towards the sidelines.

But Jack, they’re “Canada’s Team”! You have to support “Canada’s Team”! It’s mandated by TSN & Rogers!
