Off to take Jac to her follow up appointment after her hip replacement. Amazed at how well she's moving, we're going for lunch, then deliveries then we're going to see if she can fly solo on a bar shift.

As a way of backing this up, I spoke to a wholesaler today who said September returned February like figures.

If that's replicated throughout the industry we're all fucked.

Delivered a van load of beer to a beer festival yesterday.

A reminder to me that our threats are Netflix, Deliveroo, and supermarkets not other small breweries and independent pubs.

The charity had access to loads of helpsheets etc but simply being in a safe environment to talk feelings out was a great help.

And we sold a lot of wine.

And didn't need to put the heating on. 😀

Yeah, there was an unfair dismissal case. Not sure if it ever went to tribunal but the end result is neither party comes into the bar anymore.

We used to host menopause parties in collaboration with a local charity. They were very successful, women supporting women, events. Unfortunately an issue between the charity and one of their employees who happened to be a regular at ours meant the events got shelved. I'd like to do them again.
