The weird thing about people decrying physical media is ... it's not binary? I watch streaming and I also spend money on awesome little objects with movies on them. One is convenient, the other is quality.

The Neil Diamond musical has "Sweet Caroline," "Cherry Cherry" and "Cracklin' Rosie" all before intermission.

It is VERY difficult to convince myself that I need to return to my seat. What, do I need to see how it turns out? I'm pretty sure he continues to be Neil Diamond.

I have distressing yet vitally important news: Thus far, the Halloween Stuff collection at FIVE BELOW is superior to the Spirit Halloween offerings.

Spirit is obviously the place for costumes, but in terms of goofy little spooky impulse buys, we had a much better time at FIVE DAMN BELOW.

Also, EENIE MEANIE, out today on Hulu, is perfectly watchable with a funny, lively lead performance by Samara Weaving. It's surprising that an action movie this by-the-numbers got made in 2025, but nothing wrong with an easy heist movie with some good performers. 🎥

HONEY DON'T is mostly unremarkable, a bunch of generic Coens Stuff thrown together in an underconsidered plot.

Also: I love gratuitous sex scenes, but this has TOO MANY. It's like he just wanted to watch them make out. (Understandable but alarming.) 🎥
