Being the Transportation Officer in the Midwest I cover all things public transit, clean mobility, passenger rail, and maritime/ Great Lakes ports. I serve as the main point of contact for Québec companies that are interested in getting in touch or doing business within those spaces in the Midwest.

As a Trade Officer, I am part of our office’s Economic Affairs team. Our team consists of 6 other Trade Officers, each covering different sectors such as aerospace, agrifood, advanced manufacturing & creative industries. The Director of Economic Affairs, Dominic Têtu, leads this team.

The province of Québec has a strong presence internationally — with 9 offices in the U.S. and 34 offices worldwide. Our office in Chicago has been around since 1969! Our head of mission, Jean-François Hould, is Québec’s Chief Representative to the Midwest, appointed by Premier François Legault.
