BTW, gonna add this. The unyielding anger and righteousness on the left is exactly why I am not a Democrat, despite having voted for them all my life. And it is why so many in the center swung right. If we can't create a respectful, "demilitarized" zone, it will be hard to win elections.

I must say though, that the best journalism is local. We have stations in Kansas City (KSHB, KMCI), and a great station in Nashville (WTVF), home of the amazing Phil Williams. Not sure if you can get those or not.

Fully agree with Tommasina here. As I've said before, it doesn't mean inviting them to your house for holiday dinner, just stop fighting them over other issues (and perpetuating the divide) while they shed light to their peers.
