My more to say is here (or some of it at least): open.substack.com/pub/seandani...
Also thank you @polphilpod.bsky.social for sharing my previous post. Know we disagree when it comes to the matter of agency but I appreciate your thoughts and time on the subject.

Abundance does I think get things correct when it points to bureaucracy as an issue, but I don't think Klein and Thompson have the right bureaucracy in mind when the criticize it: open.substack.com/pub/seandani...

I also discuss Sam Seder's conversation with Klein, and try to ad a bit about my perspective as a Texan, Houstonian, etc. @majorityreport.bsky.social

@ezrakleinbot.bsky.social has pointed to Austin and Houston as good examples of a healthier housing market. That couldn't be further from the truth, and I talk about why in my latest post: seandanieljohnson.substack.com/p/texas-is-n...

“The left” isn’t arguing about who’s better- we’ve known for years that AOC is better. The reason this is an “argument” is because liberals have finally gotten on board at least aesthetically with some leftist rhetoric after Trump went full tilt fascist and are having this discussion 8 years later.

Posted a new article! This is an older piece I wrote as a rebuttal to so called "Effective Altruism" but I think works to summarize my views on philanthropic approaches to justice and human welfare.

Engraving by an unknown author depicting a man-machine hybrid, 1569. The image is visibly old, the machinery detailed and realistic looking.

Recriminations surrounding the 2024 presidential election aren't over are they?

I've written a piece talking about how I think we should approach responsibility for the Dem loss. Let me know what you think.
