I have never loved someone enough to rip a fingernail out which, perhaps, gives me my test results.

I can definitely see that. If I had a more visible account, I’d probably spend more time thinking about this position as my mistakes would have more downside.

I usually don’t delete my posts because I believe in being transparent about my mistakes. But mistakenly posting something offensive is probably one of the occasions that would lead me to delete.

Speaking of overrated in the pre-season, why was Arch Manning anointed the best college QB?

Penn State was a pre-season fave bc the last 2 champs were B10 teams who saw many seniors forgo the draft to come back and take care of unfinished business. But PSU’s core was worse than M’s and OSU’s and their coach was far worse. They were always fraudulent but I didn’t see this as their unmasking

When Gary Danielson understands more about football strategy than you, it might be time to give up the ghost, Hames Franklin.

Fickell has given up. This is weird. Wisconsin’s not gonna win but their coach isn’t even trying anymore.

I don’t think most of them are trying to.

In regards to this, I discovered today that in addition to the more high profile tariff reductions on medicine and chemicals, aircrafts and autos and parts, and cork, they also lowered tariffs on 4 agricultural
Products: capers, kiwi fruit, paprika, and saffron. I have no idea why those 4.

The amount of prep I do before talking to a reporter about trade policy and politics always ends up seeming disproportionate to the amount of time I spend talking to the reporter.

China is the biggest producer by far. NZ is second. Italy and Greece are 3rd and 4th, so I guess this might be either at their behest or to reduce our dependence on China for the strategically important kiwis

The above tariff reductions are in regards to the US-EU trade deal. Just realized I didn’t include that crucial detail in the post.

The reporter was less fascinated by this tidbit than I was which may get to the root problem of prep time bs interview time.

This is incredibly sad. She was one of the greatest public faces of science we have ever known and to the very end continued to work for the global good. I can’t really speak to her specific scientific contributions but her human contributions were extraordinary.

Unfortunately, we would also have to re-legalize slavery but at least there will be rules about treatment of slaves and they would regularly be set free.

Self-sufficiency in agriculture is, as far as I know, not in the Bible. There are a lot of rules about environmental protection, feeding the hungry, not mixing crops, and providing for the priesthood. Nowhere does it say you can only eat your own crops.

Rollins: "It's Biblical - we've got to produce our own food. The president has talked significantly about the importance of onshoring our manufacturing. We also have to onshore our food. We have over the last decade begun to import more than we export, whether it's citrus or berries or even meat."
