One of those is finding a shot and then waiting for something interesting to enter the scene. Sometimes the magic works, and sometimes it doesn’t. But it’s always worth a try.

For this shot, I would take a photo of the museum guard, then walk to the far room in the adjacent exhibition to photograph the Buddha. I did this 4 times before I got the result I was looking for. I'm sure the attendants were wondering what I was up to walking back and forth all the time!
